Configuring Submission and Evaluation Rounds Settings

Learn how to configure submission and evaluation rounds to manage entries and judging your program.

I. Accessing Round Configuration

  1. Access Your Program: Navigate to the Programs tab in the Platform hosting your program, select the program title, and click “Manage” to enter the editing dashboard.

2. Access the Round Tab: Click on the "First Round" tab at the top of your program management page.


II. Configuring Round Settings

The round configuration page is divided into three sections.

A. General Settings

Round Title

Name the round.

Round Type

Auto-filled for submission rounds.

Timezone

Pick the timezone that will be used for all round dates.

Submission Dates

Set the Start Date and Deadline for participant submissions.

Evaluation Dates

Set the Evaluation Start and Deadline.

B. Submission Settings

Allow participants to submit multiple submissions

Participants can submit more than one entry.

Allow participants to edit their submissions until submission deadline

Participants can revise or improve their submissions at any time before the deadline.

Enable Submission Tracks

Allows you to run segmented initiatives within a single program. You can organize your program into multiple tracks (e.g., Fintech, Sustainability), each assigned its own unique submission forms, evaluation criteria, and judges. This enables you to target specific audiences and provide tailored evaluations for different focus areas.

Reveal Submission Status

Keeps participants informed with the status of their submissions on their accounts (e.g., “Qualified,” “Disqualified,” or “Under Review”).

Enable Paid Submissions

Connects your platform to your Stripe account to collect an entry fee.

C. Evaluation Settings

Allow Judges to Edit Evaluations

Judges can revise their scores and feedback until the Evaluation Deadline.

Enable Admin Judging

Enables Admins to participate in the evaluation process, acting as judges and assigning scores.

Reveal Submission Status

Shows participants the status of their entry on their accounts (e.g., Submitted, Under Review).

Reveal Judges’ Feedback

Exposes comments and scores to participants once evaluations are published.

Enable Public Voting

Allows the wider public to vote on selected submissions for this round.

Disable submission preview for judges

Hides the submission preview pane for judges (optional).

Select Judge-Evaluation View(s)

Choose one or more ways judges can review submissions: Table View, Card View, or Live Judging.

Select Judge-Evaluation Default View

Sets the default view judges will see when accessing the evaluation dashboard.

Select the default submission number to display

Sets the initial number of submissions displayed per page for judges.

Tips for Round Configuration

  • You can set your submission and evaluation dates now, and then return to toggle participant and judge options anytime before publishing the program.

  • If you enable Paid submissions, you must finish connecting your Stripe account before opening the round to participants.

  • While you can enable multiple evaluation views for judges (e.g., Card View and Table View), pick a single Default View that best matches your primary evaluation method.
