Assigning Judges to Submissions

Learn how to assign submissions to judges or panels for evaluation.

All actions for managing judges are available from either the action bar above the Judges table or the Actions menu (three dots) on a judge's row.

I. Assigning Submissions from the Judges Tab

  1. Go to Judges: Navigate to the Judges tab.

  2. Select Judge(s): Check the box next to the name of the judge(s) you wish to assign submissions to.

  3. Initiate Assignment: Click the Assign Submission icon in the action bar.

  4. Choose Rule and Confirm: Select one of the following assignment rules, then confirm:

  • By Submission Tracks: Submissions are automatically assigned if they belong to the specific track(s) the judge is qualified for.

  • By Participant Tags: Submissions are automatically assigned based on specific tags applied to the participant's profile.


II. Assigning Judges from the Submissions Tab

  1. Go to Submissions: Navigate to the Submissions tab.

  2. Select Submissions: Select one or more submissions you wish to allocate.

  3. Initiate Assignment: Click the Assign Judge icon.

  4. Choose Judge(s): From the dropdown, select the Single judge or Multiple judges you want to assign to the selected submissions.


III. Admin Judging (No Assignment Required)

This allows Program Admins to evaluate any submission without being assigned as a judge.

  1. Enable Admin Judging: Go to Settings β†’ Evaluation Settings β†’ Check Enable admin judging β†’ Save Settings.

2. Evaluate as Admin: Open the Submissions tab, click the More menu (three dot) next to any submission, and select Evaluate.

With your judges assigned to submissions, your next step may be to allow Program Administrators to participate in the evaluation.
